Perhaps float along the lazy river, or let the kids loose on the water sprays, slides and dumping buckets of the colorful Dhow and Lagoon. Fancy taking things up a gear? Waft down Flood River to conquer its sudden waves and foaming river rapids, or catch the surf at Breaker’s Bay, the Middle East’s biggest wave pool, where 5-foot (1.5-meter) waves come at you from every direction! For serious thrills, tackle the heart-pounding heights of Jumeirah Sceirah. Climb the 105-foot (32-meter) tower, board a capsule and then scream out loud as you plummet back down at 50mph (80kmph). Alternatively, go giddy on the rotating Tantrum Alley, ride a tube down into the high-speed spiralling bowl of the Burj Surj; or shoot 9 feet (15 meters) into the sky on the powerful Master Blasters. When you need a breather, relax over lunch, snacks and drinks (all at own expense) at the restaurants or cafes. Dig into tasty pizzas, pastas or barbecue fare or refuel with a smoothie, juice, soda or ice cream — there’s a food outlet for every taste. Perhaps finish at the gift, toy and aqua-wear stores to buy mementos of your day. When you’ve had your fill of fun, leave the park when you wish. Your ticket is valid up till closing time on the day.
